Sierra's sales approach is based on a partnership between our clients and farms. Our highly experienced flower people maintain these partnerships to ensure that only high quality, consistent flowers reach the final consumer.
We use information technology to link our growers and clients through an online real-time database. Sierra has designed a unique computer system that date codes each box arriving at our facility, as well as monitoring arrival temperatures, product quality, and grading standards.
In 1999 we recognized the need for an online resource center for fresh cut flower information. With our partners, we maintain www.sierraflowerfinder.com, the Internet's largest online commercial flower database.
Presently we are focusing on creating more social and environmental consciousness. We hope that the introduction of the Sierra EcoTM brand will raise awareness concerning social and environmental issues within the flower industry.
We continue to look for new ways to improve the level of information reaching the florist and the final consumer.

Sierra Flower Trading was founded in Montreal in 1986 and has since become the largest distributor of fresh cut flowers in Canada handling products from over 150 farms in 14 countries.
