| Miramonte began production in the Rio Negro growing area near Medellin, Colombia over 20 years ago. Miramonte is a testing farm for the most significant Chrysanthemum Breeders, Van Zanthen/CBA/Cleangro, Fides, Deliflor and Dekker and is able to offer the newest innovations as part of the almost 200 Chrysanthemum varieties in production. In addition to Chrysanthemums, Miramonte grows many specialty products on 62 hectares of rich land with good irrigation. Production includes Filler Asters, Liatris, Gerbera, Anigozanthus (Kangaroo Paw), Callistephus Aster (Matsumoto and Astoria), Zantedeschia (Colored Calla Lily) and an assortment of Greens (including Eucalyptus, Foliages and Grasses.) Miramonte demonstrates environmental sustainability and social responsibility through Florverde certification since 2004. Florverde certification demonstrates ongoing conformance to international standards for cultural practices, employee wellness, and environmental protection. BASC (US Customs Service Business Anti-smuggling Coalition) certification promotes worldwide safety and security.
