  • These are F1 hybrid varieties of decorative Cabbage or Kale now widely referred to by their latin name Brassica.
  • Usually available in late summer and fall but show the best colour in the fall.
  • Very long lasting.
  • Often used to tint in a wide variety of seasonal colors
  • New Japanese hybrids of these flowering cabbage have longer stems and brighter colours.
  • Care and Handling:
  • Should be hydrated with floral preservative.
  • The woody stems of these cabbage can dirty the water very quickly, changing water regularly is important and can eliminate potential cabbage smell from water.

Grading Information

  • Graded by stem length and sold by the stem.
  • Florist quality should be minimum 60cm but can often be up to 90cm later in the Fall.
